| The church I see The church I see is a church of presence, passionately serving Jesus, filled with the Father’s compassionate love and baptised in the Holy Spirit. The church I see is a church of worship, saints exalting Jesus, singing songs of joy and living sacrificial lives. The church I see is a church of power, praying heaven upon earth, living in signs and wonders and victorious in spiritual warfare. The church I see is a church of action committed to serving the poor, the orphan, the widow and the outcast. The church I see is a church of evangelism, planting other churches, reaching new communities and relevant to a 21st century people. The church I see is a church of diversity, believers from many nations worshiping one God, celebrating different cultures and united in faith. The church I see is a church of disciples, people who are healed, free, forgiven and joyful, people committed to the great commandment and the great commission. The church I see is a church is a church of Holiness, a people of purity, who are honouring integrity and are ready for the second coming. The church I see is a church raising new leaders, empowering people to serve, releasing people into their destinies and building for the future. The church I see is a church living in revival, saints sold out for Jesus, sinners flooding the altar to be restored and Christ’s kingdom being extended. The church I see is a church is in love with the Father, living under Jesus its head and in the fullness of the Holy Spirit. That is the church I see – that church could be Riverside. |
